CinÁrts is a locally owned movie theatre that has been serving the community for over two decades. They have a strong commitment to providing a unique and engaging cinematic experience for all patrons, and are trying to do so in a constantly evolving digital landscape.

The Goal
To create a modern, user-friendly app that enhances the cinematic experience for patrons while staying true to the CinÁrts rich history. We aimed to provide an engaging and accessible platform that would allow users to easily discover and book movies, access information about showtimes and amenities, and connect with the CinÁrts community.
The Approach
We began by conducting extensive user research to understand the needs and preferences of CinÁrts’ target audience. This informed our design decisions and helped us create an app that would be both functional and engaging. We focused on creating an easy-to-use interface, that was reminiscent of long standing theaters.
The Result
With CinÁrts’ new app, customers were able to easily discover and book movies, access information about showtimes and amenities, and connect with the CinÁrt community in a more engaging and accessible way. It helped bridge CinÁrt and the modern digital ticket buying experience.

Lexend Exa and Merriweather are the two typefaces used throughout the site: Lexend Exa gives headings and titles a bold, modern edge, while Merriweather provides a warm, readable foundation for body copy.
